Moon. The only natural satellite of Earth. It orbits around Earth at an average distance of 384,399 kilometres. It completes an orbit in relation to Earth and the Sun every 29.5 days. The Moon and Earth are bound by gravitational attraction, which is stronger on the sides facing each other.
Mars. The fourth planet from the Sun and the second smallest planet in the Solar System, after Mercury. Named after the Roman god of war, it is often described as the Red Planet because the iron oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a reddish appearance. Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere.
